It started\u00a0<em>three years<\/em> ago, and amazingly, continues up until, probably whenever you&#8217;re reading this! From the over five hundred responses I picked out twenty of my favorites &#8211; see if you recognize any!<\/p>\n<p><strong>You Might Be a Welder If&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>you&#8217;re in the truck and halfway home when it finally dawns on you that you still have you&#8217;re tig gloves on &#8211;<strong>2much2do<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>when working out at the gym, you spend more time examining the welds on the gym equipment than you do actually using the equipment \u2013\u00a0<strong>NewMexSmoke<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>you examine the welds on a car to determine whether to buy it or not &#8211;\u00a0<strong>metalmeltr<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>the smell of argon and scorched clothing are nostalgic \u2013\u00a0<strong>arc~angel<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>you can tell what part of you is on fire just by the smell &#8211; \u00a0<strong>raserspeed<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>your safety boots could be used for tap dancing because of all the molten metal imbeded in their sole &#8211;<strong>Bubblemaker<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>your jeans are starting to rust \u2013\u00a0<strong>welderman23<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>you measure the rods you&#8217;ve burned in tons &#8211;\u00a0<strong>triggerman<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>everybody at the weld supplier knows you by the sound of your voice when you call &#8211;\u00a0<strong>BartsArcs<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>when you see a fire your first reaction is to put it out with your hands \u2013\u00a0<strong>steel n bones<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>you sit in the living room with a propane torch on the coffe table using it to make smores &#8211;\u00a0<strong>turboglenn<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>you get splatter\/grind dust in your coffee but you drink it anyway &#8211;\u00a0<strong>Gnarcissist<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>you have the needed concentration to weld while wearing flip-flops! \u2013 \u00a0<strong>linas58<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>your wife finds all of her pots and pans in one of your sculptures \u2013\u00a0<strong>welder_guy<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>you&#8217;ve ever set your Boss on fire <strong>\u2013 MattT<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>you can identify different stick electrodes by their smell \u2013\u00a0<strong>Marcel Bauer<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>you have more welding hoods than your wife has shoes \u2013\u00a0<strong>GilaSlim<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>you have done the one footed hop from the hot sparks that fell into your boot and down between your toes &#8211;<strong>jhwelder<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">your clothes catch on fire more than once a day<\/span> \u2013 richcharles<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">you have a completely different meaning for &#8220;It&#8217;s Miller time!&#8221;<\/span> &#8211; SkidSteerSteve<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>Got any more YMBAWI quotes? \u00a0Let&#8217;s start another marathon thread here!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This has to be my favorite topic post ever from the\u00a0Miller Discussion Boards.
