He&#8217;s the winningest Supercross racer of all time, known as the King of Supercross, and his nickname is &#8220;Showtime&#8221; for his signature aerial move the Nac Nac.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/PZRWWt1u3KM\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Jeremy&#8217;s now retired from Supercross but last year he put together an\u00a0Off Road Truck Racing team\u00a0Jeremy McGrath Motorsports (JM2). \u00a0They race in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series.<\/p>\n<p>When Arc-Zone&#8217;s PRO Partners were in town we went up to Lake Elsinore to the races, and to tour Jeremy&#8217;s shop.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-6630\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.arc-zone.com\/joewelder\/wp-content\/new_ups\/JimJeremyProPartners-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"JimJeremyProPartners\" width=\"387\" height=\"290\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.arc-zone.com\/joewelder\/wp-content\/new_ups\/JimJeremyProPartners-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.arc-zone.com\/joewelder\/wp-content\/new_ups\/JimJeremyProPartners-625x469.jpg 625w, https:\/\/blog.arc-zone.com\/joewelder\/wp-content\/new_ups\/JimJeremyProPartners-624x468.jpg 624w, https:\/\/blog.arc-zone.com\/joewelder\/wp-content\/new_ups\/JimJeremyProPartners.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 387px) 100vw, 387px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I also went up to help him get his welding equipment dialed in for the work they&#8217;ve gotta do to keep their truck on the track.<\/p>\n<p>Lincoln Electric powered the team with the ideal set up for their weld shop: \u00a0a MIG and a TIG welding machine, a Plasma Cutter, and even portable equipment for making repairs at the track. \u00a0Jeremy says, \u201cWe beat the truck up pretty bad.&#8221; In other words, they have to check everything for damage after the race, and make the appropriate repairs.<\/p>\n<p>Those repairs can be almost anything, so their equipment needs to be ready to tackle a variety of projects and materials.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6638\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6638\" style=\"width: 225px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.arc-zone.com\/joewelder\/wp-content\/new_ups\/arc-zone-gas-flow-shield-tester.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6638 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.arc-zone.com\/joewelder\/wp-content\/new_ups\/arc-zone-gas-flow-shield-tester-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Shield Gas Flow Tester for TIG, MIG, Plasma Torches\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.arc-zone.com\/joewelder\/wp-content\/new_ups\/arc-zone-gas-flow-shield-tester-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/blog.arc-zone.com\/joewelder\/wp-content\/new_ups\/arc-zone-gas-flow-shield-tester-600x800.jpg 600w, https:\/\/blog.arc-zone.com\/joewelder\/wp-content\/new_ups\/arc-zone-gas-flow-shield-tester-624x832.jpg 624w, https:\/\/blog.arc-zone.com\/joewelder\/wp-content\/new_ups\/arc-zone-gas-flow-shield-tester.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6638\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Shield Gas Flow Tester for TIG, MIG, Plasma Torches<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The first thing I did (after ensuring they had all the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arc-zone.com\/index.php?main_page=index&amp;cPath=597\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">welding safety apparel and personal protection equipment<\/a> they needed) was to test their TIG \/ GTAW torch set up. \u00a0First I tested the water-cooler flow rate and pressure to their\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.arc-zone.com\/index.php?main_page=index&amp;cPath=13\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TIG welding torches<\/a>.\u00a0 I then set the flowmeter argon flow rate, and confirmed the flow at the TIG torch gas nozzle (cup)\u00a0using a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arc-zone.com\/index.php?main_page=product_info&amp;cPath=585_2280&amp;products_id=7909\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shield gas flow tester<\/a>.
