If you haven’t already heard, I am a huge fan of the Flaming Lotus Girls (FLG). This year, they are set to install SOMA, at Burning Man as a 2009 Honorarium Installation. The sculpture will depict the transfer of information from one neuron to another, via their adjoining axon. And inside each of the neurons will be a nucleus, i.e. one huge, flaming ball of fire!
